Difflam is indicated in adults and children over 6 years of age, for symptomatic local treatment for the relief of pain and irritation of mouth and throat. Adults and children over 6 years of age: one lozenge 3 times a day. The treatment must not exceed 7 days.

What is a sore throat and what causes it?
All of us have experienced the discomfort of a sore throat. It’s that uncomfortable feeling of pain and inflammation and usually feels worse when you swallow.
Most sore throats (about 70-95%) are caused by viruses – usually a cold or flu.
Only about 10-15% of sore throats are caused by bacteria. This is often called ‘strep throat’, named after streptococcus bacteria.
Some sore throats are caused by irritants – like cigarette smoke, dust and allergens – or by using your voice too much.
What else can I do to feel better?
In addition to using the right Difflam sore throat remedy for your symptoms, you can:
- rest
- drink plenty of water and non-alcoholic fluids
- avoid smoking and exposure to cigarette smoke
- drink warm water with honey and lemon.
